why cant we imagine colours that don't exist?


we perceive colors in our mind along a spectrum (from red to violet)) but they don’t really exist tho that’s just how our brains interpret different wavelengths of light. there is no red, only 645 nanometers traveling at C. your BRAIN invented “red” that’s how it deals w information in a convenient way. to find empirical knowledge u have 2 avoid the biases that evolution has placed into your brain “how ana sees orange” isn’t knowledge bc there is no orange.
